家乡的街道是一条古老而富有诗意的街道，它只有一条，而且是东西向的。街道有的地方窄，有的地方宽，还有点弯曲，就像一条将要崛起的飞龙。街道两旁都是商铺，应有尽有。有卖文具的、卖鞋的、卖衣服的、卖菜的……方便了人们的日常生活。我最喜欢街道旁的小吃店。每次走过总被那小吃店散发出的诱人的香味勾住，忍不住进去解一解口馋。
每年农历的三月二十三和九月二十三，街道上可热闹了。有从四面八方来赶集的，还有外地来的小商贩，真是人山人海，来往的车辆川流不息，把街道围的水泄不通。
