她，敢作敢为，不屈于世俗压力。当她在里德舅妈家时，受尽歧视和虐待。但她不甘受辱，在当时尊悲分明的时代里，争取自己的尊严以及平等的待遇。不惜以顽强的个性对里德太太等一系列权贵做出反抗，为的就是她心中的那一分信念对平等的追求，对权利的蔑视!
